Its Fun to Have a Healthy Smile!

Dr. Rabitz provides a fun caring atmosphere. I love the imagination that was put into the design of the office. My 4 year old son is actually excited to go to the dentist. I appreciated how on his visit everything was explained to him in an age appropriate way, before each activity was completed. For example, showing how the spinning toothbrush works on his finger before ever putting it in his mouth. I was impressed how the staff does a great job of making children feel welcome and comfortable; from when they walk in the door, through all the procedures, till they say their good-byes.

With my past experience including a BA in Child Development and over 12 years experience working with children, I would strongly recommend the Dr. Rabitz team. They foster a relationship of trust with the children, while providing excellent service. I only wish I was young enough to be a patient.

Thanks so much to you and your staff for all of your help and support with Beau. Everyone in your office is always so wonderful, helpful, and treats him with such dignity. We appreciate that more than you’ll ever know. The greatest testament to how well your office is run and how great you all are is him, because he loves going to the dentist and has gotten so much better about letting people work on him. Trust me, he would not allow you to get near him if you were not so good with him.

And, since he has so much trouble with his teeth that is definitely a good thing!!

Dr. Rabitz is the best pediatric Dentist ever….my son actually looks forward to going to the dentist thanks to him and his staff. The office itself is adorable; it is decorated in a forest motif with trees and animals everywhere. Dr. Rabitz has a great rapport with children and parents alike and takes the time to really explain what is going on with your child’s dental health. I recommend him to all my friends looking for a dentist for their children.

I have 21 month twin boys both of whom have become very good at getting themselves into and out of their swings in the backyard. Once Ryan was very comfortable and proud of this skill, he took a great fall on to his face, of course. He scored a stage 3 fracture in his front left tooth. We were not existing patients of Dr. Rabitz although he had come highly recommended by another mom of twins.

I called, we went right down, and this morning he removed the tooth. The entire staff was helpful, kind and encouraging to both Ryan and I. I would very much encourage parents to put their trust in Dr. Rabitz.

So let me start about my fear of the dentist. I hate the dentist. So, when it came time to take my 2 very small children I did my research. Dr. Rabitz’s staff is the greatest. I have a difficult daughter and they really took great care of her all the times she has been there. So, when it came time to bring in little brother he was very excited. He cried when we left the office because he wasn’t ready to leave! Who does that! Everything is catered for children. TV’s for kids as they are getting their teeth cleaned, and the waiting room is designed to keep a 3 year old well entertained. Positive reinforcement is how they run the dentist office. Treats for being well behaved, and a ticket to enter a raffle for a bike if no cavities. They even place your photo on the wall if you have no cavities. My children get very excited. Dr. Rabitz is excellent and so is his front and back office staff!!

I had a lot of anxiety about taking my son to the dentist because I was afraid it might freak him out and he’d give the poor doc a hard time. So, at 5 years old, I braved the trip to the dentist for the first time………….

And fell in love! What a charming office! You are greeted by this tree in the waiting room and there is a very warm and comfy feel, inviting you to sit back and relax. So I did.

Soon it was our turn to go in and when you step through that magic door—you are in kid heaven. Bright, colorful décor, more faux foliage, little kiddie sinks, lots of eye candy for your little one. Woo!

My kid who is rather reserved when meeting someone new (aren’t they all??) let this strange lady help him brush his teeth and take his x-rays without a whimper and never even looked back at me.

Dr. Rabitz arrived to take a look and had a hat with bunny ears on! How appropriate! He took a look at my son’s teeth and the x-rays (which seeing them made me a little weepy for some reason-emotional mama!) and told me to expect my son to lose his first tooth in about 6-8 months. He was very gentle and kind to my son and explained to him what he was doing and asked him if he had any questions. He didn’t. His eyes were glued to the TV set above him (playing the Bee Movie).

Really, if you are like me and having anxiety about taking your kid to the dentist—you really must try Dr. Rabitz. A very gentle atmosphere and friendly staff that is not too over the top.

Two Thumbs Up!!

We took our son to Dr. Rabitz’s office for his very first time (he just turned 4 the week before). In the letter they send up front with information about the first visit, it said they would do some x-rays and cleaning. My first thought was “good luck with that”, knowing for sure he would never sit in the chair long enough for a stranger to put foreign objects in his mouth. I was so amazed and happy to see that he not only sat still, but actually had all the x-rays done, without any trouble at all…..

The waiting room looks very warm and friendly and has enough interesting things to play with, unlike some other pediatric offices….no old, broken, or boring toys here. The whole area is kind of forest-themed and looks clean and friendly. A plus is that this pediatric dentist also has tons of recent magazines to read for parents.

There is a big wall with a picture of all Dr. Rabitz’s patients. I think it is named “no cavities kids” or something. A picture of your child is taken after the first visit and places on the wall too.

There are sinks at 3 different heights where children can rinse and brush.

Not unimportant either is the bathroom which is very clean and pretty big, which is always a plus for moms who still need to help their children in the bathroom. After taking x-rays the assistant tried to clean my son’s teeth but he got a little antsy and maybe a little scared. He stood up and walked away. They let him go since it was his first visit and they want his first visit to be especially pleasant. She handed my son a new Diego toothbrush and Spongebob toothpaste to take home, if he would show her how he brushes first. Piece of cake with that new brush! From the dental chair you can watch a movie. The flat screen TV played KungFu panda that day and comes with headphones and all.

All children get a ticket at the end of their visit which they can deposit in a gigantic molar in the office. Every so many times you get a free t-shirt when you have no cavities and once a year he gives away a bike to the lucky kid whose ticket he draws.

The people at the office were all very friendly. My son liked it there a lot and we even stayed to play 10 minutes more after our appointment.

I was really impressed with how Dr. Rabitz communicates with the children and the time he took to explain and talk to the parent. He is a friendly dentist who is interested in his patients.

All through the appointment he wore a hat with a rabbit on it, which cracked my son up.

Nothing scary about going to the dentist at this office. Nice, professional, interested people who know what they are doing, and doing it well.

Big thumbs up. Definitely recommend.

I just want to express my appreciation for making my daughter's dental visits so positive. Priscilla is very shy and does not welcome to any new people or experiences easily. I have been taking her to another pediatric dentist nearby my house and she always screamed. Priscilla's preschool teacher recommended Dr. Rabitz and we decided to give it a try. When we showed up the first time at the office, I found the environment so warm and welcoming, it looks like everything is tailored for little kids to feel comfortable. The staff members are very friendly and patient. I already knew that I've come to the right place! During the exam, I was surprised to see Priscilla quietly cooperate with everything. That was the first time ever (during any doctor visits) that she did not scream and cry. She was actually happy! I think she felt so comfortable because of the positive energy and patience from Dr. Rabitz and everyone else in the office. I think it's difficult to find a doctor that still shows that type of energy and treat each patient as an unique individual rather than "just another typical patient". Now, when I mention to Priscilla about going to the dentist, she immediately asks me: "The Dr. Rabitz dentist? I only like Dr. Rabitz". She also talks about Amy, who "plays" with her during the visit. I am just grateful to your office for changing my daughter's opinion and eliminating her fear about going to dentist. I will definitely recommend others to your office. Also, please know that your efforts do make a difference!
